So today is the due day yet no baby girl yet!!! I think I read somewhere that really only like 2% of pregnant women actually have their baby on their due date....so i'm sure she'll hold out longer! I had a massage done yesterday to hopefully help relax me and move things along faster however....here I am, at work still :~)
Aaron's been busy as well. This week he's working around the farm for the most part with the natives :~) He'll have his hog barn empty, cleaned and refilled again by the beginning of next week...plus maybe have a new baby!!! So super busy :~)
We had a great weekend last weekend. We went to Aaron's work xmas party in Sioux Falls. It was at the Ramada with a giant water park area for the kids to swim, a tiki bar for the adults and games set up for all of us as well. The dinner was great as well! They were taking care of the hotel rooms as well, but we decided it would probably be best if we just headed back home incase of any 'early deliveries'! We got home around 11 pm. Fun Fun!!!
Mom and I baked cookies Saturday morning before we left out of town....fudge, peanutbutter stars, carmel popcorn chex mix...yummy!
Otherwise...we're patiently waiting for the babe! If she's not here by friday, we get to pick her birthday at our appointment.
Hope everyone is having a great week! Chow!
So I figured Aaron and I better get in on this since it's so fun to read everyone elses!!! Our first Blogger Page!

1 week left :~)
7 days left to go! And we're convinced that its going to be more like 14 days! We had my appointment today and she is showing no signs of coming any time soon...so I'll guess we'll just have to wait to see. Last Friday we had an ultrasound to figure out how she was sitting and approximate weight. Everything looked great and the doc says she happy to be there. It was really neat, they did a few 4d pictures of her face. Her hand was covering half of it but its so fun to actually see a baby face rather than the alien looking picture :~) I just like to stare at it!
Thanks Giving weekend went by fast. Our turkey day was nice. We had dinner at my parent's with my family and later visited up at Aaron's parents with his sister, Mike and Nolan. Aaron had to work for the most part the whole weekend so I took advantage of the quiet time and finished all my classes this weekend. What a great feeling to be done early!
Saturday I went for lunch with my girlfriends Frankie and Robin. Frank and her husband just had their first child, Brant is about 5 weeks now....so cute! It was nice to catch up since we only see each other a few times a year.
Sunday was my parent's 35th wedding anniversary! Still happy as ever. We celebrated with a nice dinner out together. That really seems like a long time :~)
Otherwise was a pretty quite weekend. Pretty much ready for the baby and now it's just hurry up and wait :~)
Hope everyone is doing well. Chow~

Only 3 weeks to go :~)
It been nearly a month since I updated everyone last. I thought when things slowed down I'd have more time, but I seem to find more stuff to keep me preoccupied.
So we're at week 37 already! Only a few more to go :~) We pretty much ready for her from here on out. The nursery is finished with just a few final touches left. All the essentials for her arrival are set out and washed. Her armouir is full of clothes already :~) Just working on the closet now! I've been feeling great up til this point for the most part....lately sleeping has sort of became obsolete...guess I'll be ready for when she arrives then. Aaron's been great tooo...I think we're both getting a little nervous and anxious at the same time! Big change!
Aaron continues to be in the field, hopefully finishing up this week. He's been putting in long days still, so it'll be nice when he's home at a normal time to actually eat dinner together and see his face :~) We have managed to get out yet with friend when he gets done early for supper and some 'good conversation' as Aaron would say!
I'm working on finishing up on my school work early so I'm prepared and not freaking out at the beginning of December for finals. I can finish everything basically by next week. School is going great! I'm all registered for next semester as well.
My mom bought a baby doll for Otis...so he can get used to having a baby around the house. It laughs and makes noises...but I don't think he's buying it! The look on his face is like "what the hell?"
I posted a couple pictures of Nolan, our new nephew and also of Owen, my cousin's Ally and Andy little guy....both soooo cute!!! Nolan is getting so big! He's 8 weeks now but looks about 6 months!
Well, I think Aaron and I are going to try to get away this weekend for some time to ourselves before the baby gets here for some baby and christmas shopping in Sioux Falls. There's a great steak house there we've been wanting to try out too.
Hope everyone is doing well! Take care!

We're getting married!!!
It's official, we got engaged last night! And of course I said YES!!! It was sooooo cute...you can see in the picture, Aaron wrote on the onsie "Will you marry daddy" then asked me to marry him too! Of course I was totally excited and said yes....a million times over! We're really happy and excited to share the news with everyone!!!! He did a perfect job picking everything out and surprising me! No date set....we want to get baby here safely first then we'll move onto the next chapter :~) This all happened after visiting with my parents then eating out at T-Tommy's. Thank God for rainy weather, huh???!!!! It was nice to have dinner just ourselves :~)
I finally got the pictures up of the completed bathroom. We've added some accessories since the picture was taken but I wanted to show everyone my new favorite room. I love it!
This last week has been a busy one. Aaron has been busy working and I've been attend all sorts of parties :~) Friday was our friends Andy and Nancy's wedding in Alexandria. Robin and I were eachother's date. We shared a hotel room with her cousin and another friend. We all had a great time. I retired early, but the girls didn't make it back until 3 am. So, we were all up talkign until 4 so it made for a really early morning at 7:30! Everyone looked very nice...Nancy was beautiful in her dress! Aaron was able to take off a little early from work so he went out with Bill...they had a great time too....a little too much fun i'm thinking! It took him til sunday to recover :~)
Saturday was Aaron's great Aunt and Uncle Harris and Edna's 60th wedding anniversary party at KeyLargo. Being the great sport that I am....Aaron had to work, so I attended the family function with the rest of the family. Wow...all I have to say is "Aaron owes me for years to come :~) " The favors i'll be getting from him will be endless! But really, it was a good time...thank goodness Abby and I were a 'couple' since Mike stayed home with Nolan and the rest of his family too.
Sunday was my cousin Loni's baby shower. She is due one month before us...November 10th. She is having a girl too. It's fun, we grew up together and were only 5 months apart too.
Well, I better get back to work. I have to leave early to take my 'pre-nursing' aptitude test today at 1:00 so wish me luck!
Have a great week!

Finally some slow time...
Things have finally seemed to slow down a bit!!!
Aaron has continued to be busy in the field. He is putting in some really long days which will continue until close to the end of November! He'll be working at home with his family just for the rest of this week for the most part and will go back to the elevator probably early next week to start putting on fertilizer for them again...really, really, really long days!!! I probably won't be riding with him much when he's doing that so I've been try to get out there most nights now to chit chat after dinner and I've finished my studies. Beleive it or not...I like it!
Work has been about the same. I'm starting to prepare all my cases to ensure everything is up to date and 'perfect' for when I leave so the fill-in will have a clean start with hopefully no loose strings.
Classes are going well. Took my latest anatomy test last night and got an 'A' so that always helps out!!! Actually disected a sheep's brain the night before last....went better than anticipated :~)
Our Newborn Care class was rescheduled last week, so tonight we are off to that! It's only from 7-9 pm so it'll be a quick one. I told Aaron we get to eat at the new Arby's too! (That's what our life has come to at this point....excitement about the new fast food resturant in town!!!)
Had my 32 wk appointment earlier this week. Everything is as it should be. She's just a busy bee...always movin and groovin!!! Her feet have officially planted themselves comfortably beneith my ribs....comfortable for her! Oh well, only 8 more weeks!
This weekend I'm heading up to Alexandria for a friend's wedding on Friday and back home for a Miller get together Saturday night for a bit before Aaron goes back in the field. Our BIG weekend out!!!!
Hope everyone is doing well! Chat with ya next week!

Fall is here!
It's been a busy couple weeks, however our house projects are finally done for the most part!!!! Aaron and Chris finished up the upstairs bathroom a week ago monday and it was ready for use by Tuesday night! I absolutely LOVE it!!!! I'll try to post pics tonight of it. We still have some little things like the towel bars and decor to hang, but either way, I just love it!!! It's so nice to walk 5 feet to the bathroom at 3 am now rather than through the house and down to the basement for my wee-hour trips!
Aaron has officially been in harvest mode :~) They finished with the beans on Saturday and started the corn yesterday. The weather hasn't exactly cooperated the last few days and it looks like rain for the later part of the week so today he is working around the house getting odds and ends done. Friday and Saturday I rode in the combine for a while with him...I have to admit...it is sorta relaxing! Its really nice actually getting up at the same time in the morning rather than Aaron at 4:45 am and me over an hour later...although I think it's harder to actually get out of bed :~)
Sunday we got to take Les's Corvette to Mankato to do some shopping, get Aaron's hair cut and to visit Ian and Kelly. Found a couple cute newborn outfits...so little!!! We ate at Buffalo Wild Wings and ran into some other friends of ours who were watching the game...for a little too long by that time!!! It was a good time though :~)
I've completed my CNA course until I have the clinicals in Febuary or March. It's nice to have those extra 2 evenings back during the week! My Anatomy and Developmental Psych. are going well too.
Week 31 is already here!!!! I can't beleive we only have 9 weeks before baby girl is going to be here!
Hope everyone has a great week! ~Chow~

Another 2 weeks!
The last couple weeks have been busy as usual. We were able to go out for dinner a couple of nights with friends and family. The projects around the house are nearing an end for this year!!!! YEAH!!!! The upstairs bathroom should be finished by this weekend :~) We have it tiled and the new tub put in so just need to finish with the rest of it! The worst is over :~) I just love it already!
With the weather being so nice, Aaron was able to do some trimming around the house, as well as cut down the huge evergreen in the circle in front of the house. I joke with him that it gets harder for me to breath with every branch and tree he cuts down :~) but he usually replaces them with nicer ones :~)
Aaron's ready to get back into the field for the fall. He ready for some long relaxing nights in a cab vs projects around the house!
My CNA class is nearing an end...for now. I have to wait to do my clinicals until after the baby arrives...doc advised some restrictions so the instructor informed me I'd have to wait for the safety of me and the babe. I'm bummed I can't just get it overwith but the extra time this weekend is going to be great to finish other work for my anatomy class :~) FUN FUN!
We had a great surprise on Sunday, Abby and Mike had their baby.....a boy! Nolan Bryce. Both are healthy and doing well. He was 9 lbs 8 oz and 24 inches long!!!!!! He has a head of hair and looks just like his daddy! He's a mini-mike we've been told :~)
Aaron's been battling a bad head cold for the past 5 days and now I'm starting to come down with it so looks like we may have to wait longer before we can meet the little guy so we don't get him sick!
Hope everyone is doing well! I'll post new nursary pics and bathroom pics this weekend!

Work, Work, Work!
Just catching up for the last couple weeks. Seems like Labor Day was forever ago already...but just last weekend. Our original plans changed from heading to the State Fair and enjoying a night relaxing at a hotel to staying home and working on the house. We managed to get quite a bit done and also had some time for fun. My sister, Bailey and I got a pedicure done and went out for supper one of the nights. Aaron and I spent some time out at my parents visiting and had supper on Sunday night. We met some friends out as well both Saturday and Sunday. Aaron and I visited a friend of his from college, Nicole from Truman. It was great to finally meet her and her son. Her boyfriend met up with us later as well. We had supper and they reminiced about college days...too funny stories, I learn new things every day :~) The weekend was non stop with adding studying into that. I've slowly learned that I don't learn the same way I used to in college...I could watch a movie, drink a beer, chat on the phone and visit with roommates all while studying and still comprehend what just crossed my eyes. Now, the slightest distraction and I can't remember anything about the last page I read! (I think it's partially the baby too!)
The week days went by like usual. We basically finished the nursery!!!! Vickie ( Aaron's mom) is going to wax the floor for us then I'll post a pic next time. I've been studying all weekend and Aaron has been an absolute saint! He has basically been working on the house by himself....Les and Adam have been over to assist as well. We went out for supper last night with a big group of friends. It was nice to see everyone together. It's been awhile...like a year for one of the couples! We ate at a new bar/resturant in Balaton. Actually was quite nice...great atmosphere, you wouldn't expect.
Looks like it'll be another fast week again. Won't be too long before we'll be posting baby pic's! Make life a little more interesting! Hope everyone is doing well :~)

Finally the basement is done!
This week went by fast! With help from Les and Vickie (Aaron's parents) Aaron finished painting the basement and laying the carpet. We were able to move things down stairs from the office to the new office so to get a start on the Nursery. We were both busier than we thought so we are still moving stuff downstairs yet. Last night we primed the wanes coating for the baby's room and will start painting the actual room tomorrow! I think once we just get it to an empty room it will go by quickly! Doc said as long as it's well ventilated I can paint....so finally I can feel like I'm doing something!! The bathroom is yet another story...once again, the vanity top had to be reordered...for the 4th time! Maybe I'm not meant to have a new bath?
Anyways....last Friday we went to an anniversary party for a couple of friends of ours at the lake. The weather was great as well as the company! Aaron's already planning a fun anniversary party for us....i didn't say anything....his brother Adam did...'need to buy a ring first :~)' First things first...or in our case...baby then first things first :~)
My parents were out of town last weekend so their dog Rudy stayed the night Saturday. He's a golden retreiver but surprisingly he and otis are buddies.
I officially started my classes to work toward my RN degree on Monday! Very part time for the first year and will take more on starting next fall. We figure between the baby and working full time....we'll see how this year goes :~) But, I'm planning to have my LPN by June 2010 and my RN June 2011! Isn't there a statistic that says we change careers 8 different times in our lives? This will be #2 and I don't want a #3 unless it's called retirement :~)
Otherwise...tonight we have my nephew Blaine's last supper, he's leaving for college tomorrow! I can't beleive he's already that old! He's just like his auntie...he's attending St.Cloud State University. The rest of the weekend will be spent working on the house and studying (wow...never thought that would happen again!).
Hope everyone had a great week and has an even better week!

In a nut shell
Where to begin! It's been about 2 weeks since the last blog so I'll catch up quick. We (meaning Aaron) are working on painting the basement at this time...planning to be done by sunday so we can lay the carpet sunday afternoon! Then we can move the office and extra stuff downstairs to begin on the nursery and my bathroom!!! I am really excited! We have the paint for the nursery as well as her furniture set and bedding set....pink of course :~) We are sort of at a stand still as far as my bathroom goes due to our vanity top/sink having to be reordered for the 3rd time!!!! So this last time they put a rush on it and it should be in by Monday at the latest!
Last weekend was the annual Girl's Weekend with my college girlfriends. Mel decided to host this time around but first I headed to Krista and Presten's for Friday night. Krista and I spent the night catching up and made it a later night considering we were up early Saturday...Vada is an early riser! Presten made a great breakfast for us and Jaxson opened his early birthday gift before we headed out shopping. Jaxson and Aaron share the same birthday...easy for me to remember both this way :~)
We surprisingly ran into our friend Kimmy at Motherhood Maternity so we all shopped together and did lunch before making it to Mel's. This baby shopping thing is really fun! I love that we know she's going to be a girl so I know exactly what to pick out! Such cute stuff!
Erin was at Mel's when we got there. We all cought up for a while then headed out for supper and desert at this amazing little cafe in Uptown! It was soooooo delish!!!!! We spent the rest of the evening at at comedy club laughing having a good time. Before taking off Mel made blueberry pancakes for us...yum yum!
On the way home I stopped in Mankato at both Home Depot and Menards to get more things for the house. I was ready to go postal when I finally figured out what I wanted and what was going to work and headed home!
Sweetcorn was waiting for me when I got home for supper! I love this time of year!
Hope everyone is doing well! I'll post pictures probably this weekend :~)

August Already!
It's been another busy week and a half! Aaron returned home from New York Friday evening. I wanted to post some pics from the trip, however we're waiting for the pics from one of the guy's camera. They had a great time and were able to watch the Twins vs Yankees at Yankee Stadium as well as the Mets play too. Aaron says there are just people everywhere! The subways wasn't his cup of tea...very hot and crowded...so he bused or taxied it the rest of the time. They went to Time Square and a David Letterman show as well as a great comedy club one of the nights...he said that was one of the best parts! Flights went well and he arrived at my parents by 7:00 pm Friday night to join in the Johnson Family Reunion/Auntie's b-day party just in time.
It was great to see much of the family again. We're growing so much that's it's hard to get everyone together so looks like it will be Christmas again before seeing everyone. Sounds like it'll be at the Currie Bowling Alley this year...I better brush up before then to get my form back :~) I think there were like 20 kids under the age of 8 there! Pretty soon we'll be contributing to that number :~)
Saturday we decided to go to Sioux Falls to find some baby stuff. We ended up finding the bedding we liked so that is on it's way to our house...they didn't have any in stock so it was ordered in. We also got lucky and found the nursery set we liked last weekend too, so I'm heading to Le Sueur to get that this afternoon.
We should be able to start painting the basement and laying the carpet by the end of next week. We have the "princess pink" paint for the nursery too so we'll start on that next :~) Everything seems to be coming together.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

It's a girl!!!
We had out ultrasound this morning....and it's a GIRL!!!! Everything looks healthy from her 10 little fingers to her 10 little toes! There were about 8 pictures we got to take home with us :~) She weighs about 11.5 oz right now and measures about 2 days further along than what my due date says...so either the 8th or the 10th :~) Not much difference! Wow, it really makes everything feel even more real than before! Super excited! I'll get a pic posted tonight or tomorrow morning.
We have been busy continuing to work on the basement. We finished all the sheet rocking yesterday and are hoping my brother-in-law is going to tape and mud this week sometime (or at least get started). It looks sooooooo much better. I can't wait to see how it's going to look after it's finished :~) We are learning as we go. Mike thinks by the time we are finished with all our house projects he'll be ready to build a house and everything will be perfect for he and Abby!
I also had Abby's baby shower this weekend (Aaron's little sis). It was fun to catch up with the Miller side of the family as well as watch Abby open her fun gifts. Everyone was like "Is this making you even more excited??!!" And yes it was :~)
Aaron left early this afternoon on his guys trip to New York. He is spending the best of the day in Mankato, then they are all heading to the Cities to stay tonight, then fly out in the morning. I sent the camera so I'm sure there will be some interesting photos to see when they get back! He's planning to get back later Friday evening. So if anyone is going to watch the Twins vs Yankee's Tuesday night...look for Aaron!
Well, stay tooned. I'm planning to post an ultrasound pic tonight or tomorrow!

4th of July Festivities!
Sorry it's been a couple of weeks since the last blog...Need to find more time to keep in touch!
The last couple weeks have been busy still. I was in another golf tourny with Aaron's brother Adam and our friends Billy and Mike. Aaron wanted to golf between work and helping with a benefit for a friend he works with, he thought he should help with those instead. It rained all day and we were all soaken wet, but we had a great time!!! My face hurt from laughing and smiling the whole time!
We have continued to work on our basement, not without a little play first :~) July 3rd we ate out with our friends Tracy and Matt then off to the Currie Street dance. Another late night for this one....we decided that hopefully that was the last 2 am I would have to see for a long time! We had a great time though. I was able to catch up with my girlfriend Erin that I haven't seen for nearly a year already!! On the 4th we went back to Currie to watch some friends in the volleyball tourny then out to Mom and Dad's for the rest of the day until after fireworks. We boated and swam with the kids. My niece and nephew, Bailey and Breylan water-skiied (Brey gave it a good shot but just couldn't get it done). This is Bai's 2nd year of skiing...she is improving! It was fun to sit around and chat with the family and watch fireworks after dark.
Saturday and Sunday were spent working more on the basement. Aaron and Mike (Aaron's sister Abby's boyfriend) worked on studding and setting up the electrical work. There has been a huge improvement! I'm excited to see everything when it's done!
That's it for now. Hope everyone had a great weekend of the 4th! Chow for now :~)

Another week gone!
Another week has sped by already! Monday was our 16 week check up. We were able to listen to the heart beat again! It is so amazing! It was much more pronounced this time and louder...not to be confused with mine :~) As far as we know, there is only one in there to the relief of Aaron! The appointment went great and we really like our doctor...she is short and sweet and gets right to the point (that or it was because we were the last appointment of the day) . We were able to set up our ultrasound date for July 21st, the morning Aaron leaves on his trip to New York. Hopefully the babe is sitting just right so we can stop calling it 'it'! That and Aaron is convinced he and the guys will have it named by the time they return from their trip. I can about imagine what they will come up with!!!
This last weekend was a busy one. Both Aaron and I were able to take Friday off and work at home. I think I could get used to those 3 day weekends!!! We got so much done, including tearing the basement apart to start getting it ready for the office and extra family room. Saturday I was in a golf tourny with my cousin....it was more fun that competative (atleast for me!!) I'm slowly learning that there are somethings in life that I used to do better with a few malt beverages in me rather than the ever so currently popular h2o!!! Aaorn had to work that morning so that evening we had a very belated housewarming/birthday/she's finally not pregnant!!! party to attend. Roasted porkloins and played in a bean bag tourny....Our friend Mike and I did really well...Aaron's team not so well :~) Then ended with a huge bonfire!! I forgot what those were like...I think i missed them. Aaron got to catch up with some friends he hadn't seen for quite some time and talk more baby stuff with the other's that have them already or are expecting too!
Looks like this week will be another busy one too. I'll try to post early next week again! Chow for now!

Our First Blog!
Since it's so fun to read everyone else pages, I thought it was time to start our own!
Life never seems to slow down! Just when you think you'll get a breather...something else comes up :~) So, I am 15 weeks pregnant already! Wow, time just goes by! We are really excited and looking forward to the little bundle December 10th. Aaron's trying to make it to most appointments, but with his busy schedule, we might have to pick and choose the best ones.
Aaron is busy working both at home and for the elevator. He's sorting more pigs this week to be loaded Friday again. Between both places, not much time to spare! However, we are both managing to take Friday off together to start yet another project on the house: This week: The basement; Next month: My bathroom; Next winter: Aaron's bathroom; Next year: The world!! (Atleast it feels that way!) We recently finished our landscaping project around the house and are very happy with it :~)
I'm busy working in the WorkForce Center for the SW MN Private Industry Council. I really enjoy my job and the people I work with! It's hard to find that job you look forward to going to every day, but I think I found it! I'm also working very part-time for HSI doing direct care for individuals with disabilities yet. HSI is the company I worked for as their Team Lead when I first moved back to the home area. Selling my Partylite candles has slowed some but am hoping to get back in and have a few shows to get going again! Like I said earlier, time just flies by so fast! (Our house always smells good though...strawberry-rhubarb...my fave :~)
Well, hope everyone had time to do a mini-catch up. Look forward to hearing from everyone!
