6 1/2 months already...

Sooooo...i'm really bad at keeping up with the blog. I'll try harder! But as you can see, I've been busy spending time with the Aaron and the little one that is not soooo little anymore!!!

Hayden had her 6 month check up last week and is a whomping 17 lbs and 11 oz already and 27 inches long! Very healthy :~) She has very nice cheeks! She is growing and doing wonderful! She's a drooling maching...we're hoping a tooth pops up one of these days! She's a very happy baby, lots of smiles and tons of baby kisses! And of course she still looks just like her daddy though :~) She's mastered sitting by herself and eats a whole list of fruits and veggies now! We're making all her food so a little extra work for mom and dad but it's worth it! She just got her first professional photo's taken this morning so i'm excited to scan those and show everyone in a couple weeks!

A couple weekends ago Aaron and I went with our friends Matt and Tracey to a Twins game in the cities. We had a great time! Hayden stayed with nana and papa miller and was the best baby they said...no tears :~)

Otherwise it's crazy how much our time is consumed and were not sure what we've did. Work continues to get busier every day. I'm covering in Rock County again 2 days a week for an undertermined amount of time until they find a replacement job counselor. And Aaron is trying to find time to take off to begin our bathroom project in the basement. We got all the materials last weekend...now just need to tear into it :~)

People say you're only as busy as you want to be...so this weekend were planning some R and R over the holiday! Hope everyone is great...keep in touch soon!

4 months and counting...

Hayden's already 4 months old! We just had her check up on Monday. 14 lbs 9 oz and 25 inches long :~) Very healthy baby! Everything went very well...the shots were not fun but we made it through. Hayden rolled over last week! Of course it was at daycare and I haven't seen her do it since. I like to think that it was from us practicing the night before....whatever make me feel better, huh? Her big debute with rice cereal was on Monday night. She really wasn't sure what to think and what to do with her tongue, but by last night, she was like a little bird! The closer the spoon got the bigger her mouth would open. It was funny...soon as she would swallow the spoonful, she'd suck her thumb back in, up came the spoon, out came the thumb with a wide open mouth! Tongue sticking out and all :~) Its so fun! I just love being a mommy!

It's that time of year again! Aaron has been in the field non stop for the past week so we haven't seen much of each other so I'm praying for rain tonight! Hayden's been a little fussy the last couple nights...I think it's 'cuz she misses her Daddy :~) I miss him too...

Just a couple more weeks of school then I'm off for the summer! I'm looking forward to a summer with no school work so I can relax and spend my extra time with Aaron and Hayden, rather than burried in school work.

About a month and half ago we got a new vehicle...it's crazy how much room a little person needs! We love the Pacifica....but i secretly miss the passat :~)

Work has been just crazy! I've been working out of the Luverne office 2 days a week for the past 2 months to cover and train in a new job counselor for Rock county. Yesterday was my last day in that office.....yeah!!!!! Now it's catch up time back in Marshall. We've seen an increase in the amount of cases already and it's only the end of April. Hopefully the job market turns around a bit.

Hope all is well for everyone...take care!

Hello again :~)

Hayden is already 10 and a half weeks old! It's crazy how fast time flies by! It's so fun to watch her grow...she has changed so much already. Seems like every day i tell Aaron..."she's getting so big!" She still loves to be held but now is totally into her play gym. She's 'talking' alot too... my conversation with her is no longer one sided...although i have no idea what she is saying. Aaron likes to pretend that she is saying that she doesn't like otis...so that i'll give in on an adopting option! Not so much :~)

I returned back to work on February 17. It was hard to leave Hayden, but i'm enjoying being back to work with a schedule and routine. Hayden spend the first 2 weeks with Nanna Miller but started at the daycare center yesterday. Surprisingly, i didn't cry! Hayden was smiling when it was time for me to leave so I think that helped :~)

Finished my clinicals this last weekend so i'm finally done with that for the semester! Thank goodness!!! 12 hours days are way too much when your free labor. The rest of school is going well. Spring break next week so time to catch up on nothing :~)

Aaron's been busy as work like usual. He's back in the fantisy racing league to win some more money...however this round isn't going as good as last time. Maybe it's beginners luck? Not that we watch the races anyway...i think it's more to get in on the end of the year party!

Hope everyone has a great week! ~Chow~

Finally!!!

Wow...so it's been soooo long since I wrote last! WE have been so busy!!!!

Hayden Ree finally made her long awaited...really long awaited, dramatic entrance December 20th at 4:20 am. Did I mention 10 days late??? She was 8lbs 5 ozs and 21 inches long. She has a ton of hair and looks like her daddy :~) Anyways...she is perfect and beautiful!!!

She is already 5 weeks old!! I can't believe how fast time has flew by...it's amazing how much time it takes to do nothing but take care of a little one :~)

Aaron was able to take some time off from work to help us get settled in at home. Otherwise he is back at it again.

I started school again on the 12th so have been squeezing that in when I can. The grandma's and aunties are great about taking Hayden so I can get some studying done...thanks goodness!

Just a few more weeks at home then back to work the 17th of Feb....I know, my big bad b-day (it's just not what it used to be :~)

The big day!

So today is the due day yet no baby girl yet!!! I think I read somewhere that really only like 2% of pregnant women actually have their baby on their due date....so i'm sure she'll hold out longer! I had a massage done yesterday to hopefully help relax me and move things along faster however....here I am, at work still :~)

Aaron's been busy as well. This week he's working around the farm for the most part with the natives :~) He'll have his hog barn empty, cleaned and refilled again by the beginning of next week...plus maybe have a new baby!!! So super busy :~)

We had a great weekend last weekend. We went to Aaron's work xmas party in Sioux Falls. It was at the Ramada with a giant water park area for the kids to swim, a tiki bar for the adults and games set up for all of us as well. The dinner was great as well! They were taking care of the hotel rooms as well, but we decided it would probably be best if we just headed back home incase of any 'early deliveries'! We got home around 11 pm. Fun Fun!!!

Mom and I baked cookies Saturday morning before we left out of town....fudge, peanutbutter stars, carmel popcorn chex mix...yummy!

Otherwise...we're patiently waiting for the babe! If she's not here by friday, we get to pick her birthday at our appointment.

Hope everyone is having a great week! Chow!

1 week left :~)

7 days left to go! And we're convinced that its going to be more like 14 days! We had my appointment today and she is showing no signs of coming any time soon...so I'll guess we'll just have to wait to see. Last Friday we had an ultrasound to figure out how she was sitting and approximate weight. Everything looked great and the doc says she happy to be there. It was really neat, they did a few 4d pictures of her face. Her hand was covering half of it but its so fun to actually see a baby face rather than the alien looking picture :~) I just like to stare at it!

Thanks Giving weekend went by fast. Our turkey day was nice. We had dinner at my parent's with my family and later visited up at Aaron's parents with his sister, Mike and Nolan. Aaron had to work for the most part the whole weekend so I took advantage of the quiet time and finished all my classes this weekend. What a great feeling to be done early!

Saturday I went for lunch with my girlfriends Frankie and Robin. Frank and her husband just had their first child, Brant is about 5 weeks now....so cute! It was nice to catch up since we only see each other a few times a year.

Sunday was my parent's 35th wedding anniversary! Still happy as ever. We celebrated with a nice dinner out together. That really seems like a long time :~)

Otherwise was a pretty quite weekend. Pretty much ready for the baby and now it's just hurry up and wait :~)

Hope everyone is doing well. Chow~
